किसी दूर की पहचान के लिए.. 

आज फिर दिल से एक दुआ निकली 
किसी डॉक्टर की सलामती के लिए.. 

आज फिर दिल से एक दुआ निकली 
किसी कर्मचारी की कुशलता के लिए.. 

आज फिर दिल से एक दुआ निकली 
किसी सैनिक की रक्षा के लिए.. 

आज फिर दिल से एक दुआ निकली 
अमन और शांति के लिए..

दुआ/prayer... 

I read some where that "prayer is the the world's greatest wireless connection"! 

Indeed. Though prayer is one of the most ancient expressions of religion, it does not  always have to be about religion. It could simply be the ability to connect and derive strength from an invisible yet supreme being.

Personally, I like to term this as a 'conversation'. This consistent and continued mental dialogue involving 'exchange' of emotions, thoughts and even mumbling and ranting and breaking down at times is definitely a complete conversation. The answers we seek, the reassurance we need, the shoulder to cry on and the cheering we look for, and the strength to carry on are all right there in that moment. And sooner or later we do realise how this higher being is none other than our inner self and how important and effective it is to have these 'conversations' with the Self. 

These 'conversations' could act as a weapon against trials, tests, tears and tribulation. They can heal a broken heart, calm a restless soul, soothe a painful wound or simply help regain some lost confidence. They aid in enhancing positivity, overall mental, physical, emotional and psychological health.

And the best part of it all is how it transcends all barriers of relationships, regions, creed and familiarity. We can pray for not just loved ones and acquaintances but just anyone who may need us to have this 'conversation' on their behalf as they may be too helpless and distraught or confused to do so. 

And that is the 'Power of prayer'.  

As humanity embarks upon its journey into yet another new and unknown year, especially after the  rattling rendered by 'T20',  let's all continue to keep the faith in the 'power of prayer' and for all the blessings, hope, healings, miracles, peace and joys. 

Let's all join hands, keep calm and pray on!!
