Season 1 Episode 15

The school portal got updated last evening and we noted that Taarini has "Alumni 2021" status officially next to her name now....

A complete lump in the throat moment as we realise our first born has completed school life and will soon head to college.

What an incredible journey its been from the moment our chirpy, chatty little 3 year old took her first step into school life in 2006 to this day in 2021 as she emerges out of it as a cool, collected, calm and confident 'soon to be adult'! A joyful adventure that we, as parents have also been part of, hands-on, enthusiastic and excited, probably even more then her at times. So this feels like a personal milestone crossed.

Yes, we are a wee bit sad it concluded this silently, sans any of the  ceremonial frills, fanfare and the formal send offs thanks to the 'locked down' times we are living in, but we will always cherish her wonderful years spent here. The doting care every single teacher lavished upon her and all the lovely friends she made along the way are precious treasures that will go a long way with her we know. A home away from home that she was ever cheerfully ready to wake up and go back to every single day - That was something that reassured us time and again that her school was indeed her 'happy' place!

With this, one era may be coming to an end, but newer dreams and vast possibilities beckon her ahead at this threshold. 

With prayers, optimistic thoughts and blessings, here's looking forward to her bright and happier future, hopefully in a world where 'wishes and wings' won't be clipped and locked inside homes any longer and we see them all soaring high in life.
